Overnight Arrest Nets Seizure of Ecstasy Pills and Other Narcotics

A disturbance call for service at a local gas station has led to the arrest of a Lancaster County man accused of having ecstasy pills and other drugs.

 Adis Glen Crawford III (DOB: 10-23-1975) is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Ecstasy (MDMA), Possession with Intent to Distribute MDP (Hash Oil), Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Resisting Arrest.

A CPD officer was initially dispatched to the ‘S Mart’ located at 321 Greystone Boulevard at approximately 3:30 this morning for a disturbance complaint involving Crawford.

When the officer arrived on scene and came in contact with the suspect, he immediately smelled an odor of marijuana coming from Crawford and his vehicle.

As the officer attempted to search him, Crawford tried to run away but was soon detained.

During the detainment and eventual arrest, the officer noticed that plastic bags fell out of Crawford’s pocket. The items inside the bags field-tested positive for ecstasy pills, hash oil and marijuana.

Crawford is accused of having close to fifty (50) multi-colored in the shape of a cartoon character, 10 grams of hash oil in canisters and a small amount of marijuana.

A handgun was found inside Crawford’s vehicle however, it did not come back as stolen after a check through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

All of the items were seized and submitted as evidence in the CPD property room.

At last check, Crawford was still being house at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center (ASGDC) under a $150,000 personal recognizance (PR) bond for the ecstasy pills and a $1,702.00 PR bond for the hash oil.

All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
