Suspect Arrested in Connection with 2021 Murder Investigation

Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators have arrested and charged a man in connection with a 2021 murder investigation.

Willie Holloman is housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center (ASGDC) charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.

Holloman is accused of fatally stabbing the victim, identified by the Richland County Coroner as Terrance Myers during an argument at the 2500 block of Cherry Street on October 10, 2021.

DNA evidence collected at the crime scene and later processed assisted investigators with the case.

All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
