The City of Columbia Parking Services is excited to support our local businesses and community by offering complimentary parking during the Thanksgiving Holiday!
On-street meter operations
- Wednesday, November 27th– enforcement until 6:00 pm as usual
- FREE CITYWIDE- Thursday, November 28th
- FREE CITY WIDE Friday, November 29th, except Five Points, timed parking will be enforced during normal hours (11 AM-6 PM)
- FREE Saturday November 30th, except Five Points which will operate as normal(enforcement on duty 11AM-6PM)
- FREE CITYWIDE- Sunday, Dec. 1st (per regular ordinance)
All city parking deck facilities
- Wednesday, November 27th – normal operations until 5:00 pm
- Wednesday at 5:00 pm gates will be raised (Lincoln, Park, Lady, Sumter) So basically, FREE *DECK PARKING Wednesday night, THANKSGIVING DAY, and BLACK FRIDAY. The gates will be lowered for normal operations at 2 am, Sunday, December 1st.
- FREE parking on Friday, November 24th & Saturday, November 25th at the 2221 Devine Street Deck Facility (5 Points area).
