Operation B.R.I.D.G.E (Building Resilience through Intervention, Development, Guidance and Empowerment) is a proactive and educational youth program that is designed to help deter Middle and High school youth from criminal behavior or association. The goal of Operation B.R.I.D.G.E is to educate youth on the importance of making right decisions, and the potential consequences they can face as a result. This program also gives parents an effective alternative in helping their child become responsible and productive members of society.
- Operation B.R.I.D.G.E participants will visit Richland County Coroner’s office for visit and session with the county coroner.
- They will then be offered the proper resources and aid through CPD, community partners, and youth organizations dedicated to their success.
- Candidates for the Operation B.R.I.D.G.E. program will be chosen on a first come and as needed basis.
To participate, youth must be enrolled in one of the following Richland District One schools:
W.A Perry
Hand Middle
Heyward Gibbes
Alcorn Middle
Dreher High School
C.A Johnson High School
Eau Claire High School
PLEASE NOTE***Participants from other schools could be selected case by case based on the totality of circumstances and issues that is surrounding a juvenile.
