In an effort to locate juveniles who have been reported as runaways by family members, guardians or the SC Department of Social Services, the Columbia Police Department (CPD) is highlighting investigations.
CPD is investigating several cases of juvenile runaways, or those who left a location without permission. The juveniles range in age. (Per South Carolina law, a juvenile is considered to be 18 years of age or younger.)
The names of the juvenile runaways have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database and that means if a law enforcement officer across the country locates the teen, CPD will be notified and arrangements to return the child will be made by a parent or state-ordered caregiver/guardian.
Here is a synopsis of the active investigations beginning with the most recent based on a parent or guardian information:
August 4, 2022: 16-year-old Quindarius McMillan left a Truman Street home without permisson. He is described as having back hair and brown eyes. he stands 5’02” and weighs 100 pounds. Unknown clothing description.
July 4, 2022: 16-year-old Azirus Williams left the Ames Road area without permission. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’09” and weighs 145 pounds. Unknown clothing description.
June 20, 2022: 15-year-old Keyon Cannon left a New York Avenue home without permission. He is described as a black male having black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’08” and weighs 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue and white ‘clouded’ hoodie with black jeans and a camouflage hat. (Picture of Keyon was not provided)
June 13, 2022: 12-year-old Eulalia-Miangel Riley left a TS Martin home without permission. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’03” and weighs 119 pounds. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt and gray shorts.
June 13, 2022: 14-year-old Asia Hayes left a Lorick Circle home without permission. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’04” and weighs 280 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with brown hearts, blue jeans and black ‘crocs.’
June 13, 2022: 14-yearold Morgan Donahue left a group home located at 2900 Millwood Avenue without permission. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 4’11” and weighs 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a peach-colored shirt and jeans.
June 10, 2022: 15-year-old Ashanti Green left a West Avenue home without permission. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’09” and weighs 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a burgundy top, black shorts and gray shoes.
June 3, 2022 17-year-old Naomi Shaffer left an Ashley Street home without permission. She is described as having recently colored blue hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’10” and weighs 200 pounds.
June 1, 2022: 17-year-old Tatianna Tillman left a Richland County facility located at 2612 Covenant Road without permission. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’05” and weighs 130 pounds.
June 1, 2022: 17-year-old Skylar Sawyer left a Richland County facility located at 2612 Covenant Road without permission. She is described as having reddish/brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’06” and weighs 190 pounds. She was last seen wearing grey leggings and a white Adidas short sleeve shirt.
May 27, 2022: 15-year-old Marquel Bright left a Cypress Street home without permission. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’06” and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and red shirt, black shorts with black ‘crocs.’
May 20, 2022: 14-year-old Caydence Richardson left Heyward Brockington Road without permission. She is described as being a white female with red hair and blue eyes. She stands 5’09” and 140 pounds. She was last seem wearing a dark gray hoodie, blue jeans and gray sneakers.
May 16, 2022: 16-year-old John Wise left a Chestnut Street home without permission. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’06” and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans and no shoes.
May 12, 2022: 14-year-old Devan Austin left a group home located at 2900 Millwood Avenue without permission. He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’06” and weighs 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
May 9, 2022: 16-year-old Nieya Austin left a relative’s residence without permission. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’6″ and weighs 140 pounds. No known clothing description at this time.
April 5, 2022: 17-year-old Skyrah Robinson left her Abernathy Street home without permission. She is described as having blonde hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’05” and weighs 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and crocs (no shirt description) and was carrying a black duffle bag.
April 4, 2022: 16-year-old Tyavon Montgomery left the Willow Street area without permission. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’10” and weighs 150 pounds. No known clothing description at this time.
March 30, 2022: 16-year-old Connor Dixon left his Dorchester Court home without permission. He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. he stands 5’07” and weighs 140 pounds. No known clothing description.
March 16, 2022: 17-year-old Klhoie Mayes was last seen at the 2600 block of Covenant Road. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5’03” and weighs 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing black leggings, white Air Force 1 shoes, and a burgundy sweater.
March 14, 2022: 16-year-old Jalund Evans left at a Bayshell Drive home without permission. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. No known clothing description. A photograph is not available at this time.
February 28, 2022: 16-year-old Tamir Hooks left a Carter Street home without permission. He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5’06” and weighs 300 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, and blue jeans.
February 23, 2022: 17-year-olds Timothy Davis and Tyon Wilson both left a group home located at 401 Lawland Drive without permission. They were last seen wearing black pants with black hoodies.
