This year’s National Night Out (NNO) is set for Tuesday, August 2, 2022 across several City of Columbia neighborhoods.
The annual event that began in 1984 ‘promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie,’ and traditionally takes place on the first Tuesday in August. The NNO mission unifies citizens and law enforcement to reduce, deter and prevent crime while building trust and transparency between police officers and residents.
The City of Columbia’s Community Development Department continues to compile a thorough list of neighborhoods that will host NNO events for residents. We will update the list periodically here for your review.
