By September 7, 2016December 31st, 2016Press Releases

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that Investigators are releasing surveillance pictures in connection with last night’s armed robbery at a local restaurant.

Three males are accused of robbing 619 Gervais Street at gunpoint shortly after 10:00 o’clock last night.

The business was closed and it’s believed that at least two of the suspects initially approached employees outside. A male employee was thrown to the ground and hit in the face. He was taken to a local hospital for his non-life threatening injuries.

Another employee tells CPD that a suspect pointed a gun at her to demand money and held other employees against their will inside of the business.

The suspects left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The victims describe the suspects as possibly being black males; one was wearing a black hoodie and pants, and an American flag shorts or boxers.
