Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that several men have been arrested including a police officer in connection with an undercover prostitution operation.
The Columbia Police Department’s Organized Crime and Narcotics (OCN) Unit along with North, South and Metro Region’s Community Response Teams (CRT) conducted the operation yesterday at a hotel in the Greystone Road area.
As a result, ten men ranging in age from 29 – 59 years old were arrested and charged with Soliciting for Prostitution. One of the suspects, Freddie Lorick, Senior identified himself to CPD officers as being the Police Chief of the Winnsboro Department of Public Safety.
During the arrest, Lorick advised officers that he needed medical attention. EMS was requested and transported him to a local hospital.
