Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook encourages citizens to call CRIMESTOPPERS if they know the whereabouts of a missing elderly man.
The family of 86-year-old Wiley Frank Waldo reported him missing this morning after he reportedly wandered off from 1626 Main Street while walking with a relative.
According to family, Waldo is likely disoriented and may not be able to find his way back home safely.
Officers have canvassed the area with the help of a K-9 team, and talked with family members about possible locations he may frequent.
Waldo is described as a black male with brown eyes and short gray hair. He’s approximately 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. Wiley was last seen wearing a red plaid shirt, khaki pants, slippers and a USC baseball cap.
