CPD Releases Images of Hit-and-Run Suspect – Dec. 27, 2016

The Columbia Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is releasing images of suspect Antonio Burkett (09/01/1996), in connection with their hit-and-run investigation. Burkett is wanted for his involvement in the personal injury of a minor and failure to give information and render aid on December 22, 2016.

 

At approximately 4 p.m. on Dec. 22 at 2322 Two Notch Road, the suspect was driving a red 2011 Dodge Caravan SC tag KVC523 and struck a four year old child. The suspect fled the location without rendering aid or providing information to the victim. The child sustained a sprained hand as a result of the incident and the vehicle has been located.
