A reward is being offered through Crimestoppers for the arrest and conviction of a hit and run suspect who seriously injured a male victim last month.

Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators are working to gather additional information about the collision, specifically regarding the driver’s identity and whereabouts.

The victim, who was driving a moped, was struck at the 2500 block of West Beltline Boulevard shortly before 5:30 p.m. on January 23, 2017. As a result, the victim suffered from a broken jaw and a dislocated wrist.

Witnesses tell CPD officers that the suspect was driving a silver or gray Toyota Camry with SC license plate MYE-902.
