Two men are being housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center (ASGDC) in connection with a burglary and kidnapping investigation.
Keith Wayne Kirkland (DOB: 6-28-1985) is charged with First Degree Burglary, Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Kidnapping.
Charles Timothy Lee (DOB: 3-14-1970) is charged with Criminal Conspiracy and First Degree Burglary.
The men are accused of forcing their way into a Bryton Trace home early yesterday morning. Kirkland allegedly demanded money from the victim at gunpoint. The duo then drove the victim to an ATM and forced him to withdraw money.
At this time, investigators believe this was an isolated crime with one of the suspects knowing the victim.
All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
