Columbia Police Department investigators are piecing together the circumstances surrounding a shooting that injured a 24-year-old man last night.
North Region officers found the victim at 1127 Columbia College Drive shortly before 9:30 p.m. Officers rendered first aid to the man for wounds to his upper and lower body while waiting for EMS to arrive.
At last check, the victim was undergoing surgery at a local hospital.
While the investigators continue to determine the motive for the incident, it’s believed that the victim and unknown suspect were arguing before the shooting occurred.
