Crimestoppers | Armed Robbery and Stabbing Suspect Identified

Columbia Police Investigators have identified a suspect accused of stabbing a friend at a hotel yesterday morning.

CPD is searching for 44-year-old Billy Dowd (DOB: 8-20-1973), and when he’s found, he will be charged with Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Kidnapping and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime. The outstanding arrest warrants have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

Dowd is accused of stabbing the male victim the upper body yesterday at 230 Greystone Boulevard during an armed robbery. The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
