Crimestoppers: Suspect Accused of Breaking into Apartments

Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators are releasing surveillance pictures of a male burglary suspect to assist in identifying him.

On January 20, 2018 shortly after 1:00 a.m., the suspect allegedly broke into multiple apartments at the Hub located at 1426 Main Street. The doors were unlocked and during one burglary in particular, the female resident found the man in her home and tried to keep him there while a roommate called 9-1-1.

During the attempt, the suspect threw the female victim to the ground and escaped.
