Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators have arrested a 55-year-old suspect accused of shooting and killing a man over the weekend.
Eddie Lee Jennings (DOB: 2-25-1962)was charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime at CPD Headquarters last night.

n February 3, 2018, Jennings allegedly argued with a man at 3000 Beaumont Street before the shooting occurred.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim on on the ground outside with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Jennings is currently housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
