Update: Motorcycle Collision Victim Passes Away from Injuries

The male victim who was injured in a motorcycle collision last week has passed away.

The collision occurred on September 6, 2018 at the 600 block of Bush River Road.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was struck by a vehicle after the driver, (27-year-old Gregory Tucker) allegedly failed to yield the right of way.

Tucker was cited with Failure to Yield the Right of Way, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle and (having an) Expired Tag.

The impact caused the motorcycle victim to hit the front of the vehicle and land on the windshield of a third vehicle.

The Richland County Coroner assisted CPD with the investigation.
