Crimestoppers | Criminal Sexual Conduct Suspect Sought by Columbia Police Officers

Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators with the Special Victims Unit (SVU)have outstanding arrest warrants for a man accused of holding a female victim against her will and sexually assaulting her.

Once located and arrested, Gregory Bernard Roberts, Junior (DOB: 3-1990) will be charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct – First Degree, Kidnapping, Assault and Battery – First Degree and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime.

** Roberts should be considered armed and dangerous **

The arrest warrants have been entered in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

Earlier this month, Roberts allegedly forced a female acquaintance to his residence where he repeatedly assaulted her with his hands and a gun and threatened to physically harm her and a relative if she left.

The victim managed to escape to safety and flagged down a motorist who took her to CPD Headquarters to talk with officers about the alleged crime.

In addition to these pending charges, in August, Roberts allegedly forced another female into a vehicle at gunpoint. He is accused of threatening to shoot her if she didn’t comply with his demands.

The victim tells CPD investigators that Roberts took her back home after several hours. The victim was not physically harmed during the incident.
