Crimestoppers: McRae Street Murder Investigation -Surveillance Pictures Released of Suspects’ Vehicle

Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators are releasing a surveillance picture of a vehicle believed to be connected a shooting death on McRae Street.

During the course of the investigation, officers have determined that at least two suspects were involved in the murder of 25-year-old Traon Davis and continue to work to identify them.

The suspects left the scene in possibly a light-colored Nissan or Toyota.

According to Richland County Coroner, Gary Watts, Davis was shot in the upper body at 305-A McRae Street on December 31, 2018 it what now appears to be an armed robbery.

Three children between 2 and 11-years-old were at the incident location but were found in a different area of the home at the time of the shooting.
