Crimestoppers | Armed Robbery Investigation

Columbia Police Department investigators are working to identify an armed robbery suspect stemming from an incident that occurred on Christmas Eve.

The man is accused of stealing watches and gold bracelets from two males at gunpoint while they walked along 1613 Main Street shortly after 3:00 a.m. on December 24, 2018.

The victims were not physically harmed during the armed robbery.

Investigators ask that you pay close attention to the suspect who was captured on surveillance pictures on the night of the crime.

The suspect is described as being a tall/thin black male who was last seen wearing dark clothing including a toboggan, hoodie, pants, and white sneakers. He may also have a goatee and tattoo on the left side of his neck.
