Crimestoppers: Property Crime Investigations in Lake Katherine Area

Columbia Police Department (CPD) officers are investigating several property crimes incidents that have occurred since early last month in the Lake Katherine area.

Officers are releasing surveillance pictures from a recent incident that occurred around 1 o’clock this morning at a home at the 4500 block of Nandina Drive.

After reviewing video, a nearby homeowner noticed that the white male suspect pulled on vehicle door handles to likely determine if the doors were locked (Vehicle Tampering).  Since the doors were properly secured, the suspect wasn’t able to rummage through the vehicle or steal belongings.
