Crimestoppers: Person of Interest in Blossom Street Shooting Investigation

Columbia Police Chief W.H. ‘Skip’ Holbrook announces that CPD investigators are working to locate a male person of interest in a recent attempted murder investigation.

CPD officers would like to speak with 36-year-old Mack Wilson to determine what information he has regarding the suspect who shot a 27-year-old male at the 4400 block of Blossom Street.

On June 19, 2019 at approximately midnight, CPD officers located the victim outside of an apartment complex with an injury to the lower body. He has since been treated and released from a local hospital.

Witnesses reported hearing the victim and an unidentified male arguing moments before the shooting occurred.
