Fatal Shooting Investigation | Clark Street

The Columbia Police Department (CPD) is investigating a fatal overnight shooting at a North Columbia home.

CPD officers were dispatched to 3011 Clark Street at approximately 12:30 a.m. after someone called 9-1-1.

When officers arrived on scene and went inside the home, they found a male with visible injuries and no signs of life lying on the floor. Ballistic evidence was collected from the scene.

At this time, investigators are following leads in the case and are working to determine if surveillance video captured the suspect or suspects on camera.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting CPD with the investigation.
