On behalf of the City of Columbia and the South Carolina Department of Transportation:
Eastbound lanes of Sunset Drive underneath the Interstate 277 overpass will be closed Friday, Feb. 28 at approximately 7:00 pm for necessary sewer repairs.
The repairs are tentatively scheduled to re-open Monday, March 2. Westbound lanes will remain open. Vehicles from the I-277 off-ramp will be right turn only towards N. Main St. Columbia Water is working with the SC Department of Transportation on a traffic control plan for the area.
