Update: Crimestoppers: Suspects Arrested, Others Wanted for Alleged Crimes during Hostile Protests

Columbia Police Chief W.H. “Skip” Holbrook and Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced that additional arrests are pending for several suspects wanted in connection with committing crimes during hostile protests on May 30 and 31 2020.  Included in the suspect picture gallery are updates on arrested and charged individuals.

* All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.*

The photographs from multiple, hours-long body-worn camera video and open source media were captured from incidents on May 30, 2020.

CPD and RCSD investigators are working with law enforcement partners to identify and locate the male and female suspects. The accusations range from burglary and looting to vandalism and assault on police officers.

Additional suspect photographs and information will be provided as the investigation continues.
