In advance of the fireworks display to welcome in 2022, here is a list of temporary road closures in downtown:
To allow for set up purposes, beginning at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, December 31, 2021, barricades will be placed at Main and Pendleton Streets, and Main and College Streets.
At 11:00 p.m., (December 31, 2021), the 1100 and 1200 blocks of College and Pendleton Streets and the 800 block of Main Street will also be barricaded.
For safety purposes, citizens should not congregate in the area.
Barricades will be removed from the previously mentioned areas at 12:30 a.m. (January 1, 2022) with the 900 block of Main Street remaining closed until 2:00 a.m.
