Reward Being Offered in 2021 Musgroves Mill Lane Murder Investigation

Columbia Police Chief W.H. “Skip” Holbrook and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Columbia Field Office announce a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the 2021 shooting death of 19-year-old Trinity Sanders.

Columbia Police Department (CPD) officers found Sanders deceased inside a home at the 200 block of Musgroves Mill Lane on July 5, 2021. Crime scene officers collected DNA and ballistic evidence at the scene for analysis.

Despite CPD investigators conducting multiple interviews since the crime, there continues to be a lack of public assistance and information to help find the person (s) responsible for the tragedy.

Chief Holbrook says, “We know that citizens have beneficial information that can make all the difference for Trinity’s family, friends and CPD investigators. For whatever reason, people are reluctant to share that information. The reward money from our federal law enforcement partner, the ATF can be convincing for crime tips to be provided.”

“ATF frequently joins our local law enforcement partners on cases involving violent gun crime, applying any resource at our disposal to help bring about a resolution,” states ATF Special Agent in Charge Vince Pallozzi.

Crimestoppers will also offer up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect (s).  Here are the ways to submit your tips:
