The City of Columbia’s Traffic Engineering Department will remove traffic signals at the intersection of Bull and Taylor Streets to replace a utility pole. Traffic will be detoured during the process. Expected repair tie could last throughout the evening.
Columbia Police Department (CPD) officers offer the following detour routes to assist commuters:
- Northbound traffic on Bull Street will be diverted east and west on Hampton Street.
- Southbound traffic will be diverted east and west on Blanding Street.
- Westbound traffic on Taylor Street will be diverted north and south on Pickens Street.
- Eastbound traffic on Taylor will be diverted north and south on Marion Street.
