The Columbia Police Department’s (CPD) Code Enforcement Division is now accepting applications for short-term rental (STR) properties. A business license is also required.
All STRs must comply with the ordinance that City Council approved in order to operate and allow occupancy. STR permit information and a checklist to help you can be found at the CPD website:

All current STR’s must comply with the new ordinance by September 4, 2023, without penalty.
