The City of Columbia will be sponsoring the 43rd Annual Veteran’s Day Parade on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
Street closures will begin at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow.
The 1200 to 2000 blocks of Sumter Street will be temporarily closed from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Roads will remain closed for the duration of the parade and will re-open once the breakdown of the reviewing stands and clean-up has been completed.
CPD officers will provide traffic control and security for the event.

Reviewing Area closes – 1300-1400 Sumter St. and 1200-1300 Washington St.
8:00 a.m.
Assembly Area closes:
1700-2000 Sumter St.
1200-1300 Laurel St.
1200-1300 Richland St.
1200-1300 Calhoun St.
**The Comet Bus stop will be temporarily relocated from Sumter St. and Laurel St. to the 1100 block of Calhoun St.**
