CRIMESTOPPERS: Suspect Wanted in Shooting Investigation

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that Investigators are searching for a man wanted in connection with a weekend shooting in North Columbia.

Investigators have arrest warrants for 29-year-old Jirmane Kakieth Mobley (DOB: 12-13-1987) who should be considered armed and dangerous.

Once arrested, Mobley will be charged with Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature and
Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol.

Mobley is accused of shooting a male victim in the head while at an apartment on Falling Springs Road on December 10, 2016. Officers continue to investigate the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The 26-year-old-victim remains in critical condition at a local hospital for his life-threatening injury.
