Update: Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested

Columbia Police Department (CPD) Investigators have arrested an 18-year-old who is accused of shooting a male on Booker Street in the spring.

Maxwell, Jr.  is accused of shooting the victim, who was driving along the 2700 block of Booker Street on April 20, 2017. The male victim was injured in the hip and as a result, drove into an abandoned house. It’s believed that the isolated crime stems from an on-going argument between the victim and suspects.
