Overnight Shooting Investigation: Oakland Avenue

Columbia Police officers continue to investigate a motive for an overnight shooting incident that injured a 24-year-old man.

The victim was shot in the hand, and a result, has significant injuries to his fingers. CPD officers were dispatched to a local hospital shortly after 1:30 a.m. after the victim was driven there by a friend.

It is believed that the victim was arguing with someone moments before the shooting occurred at the 1000 block of Oakland Avenue.
