Surveillance Pictures Released in Convenience Store Armed Robbery

Columbia Police investigators are releasing surveillance pictures of an armed robbery suspect who stole money from a local convenience store last night.

The robbery occurred at the Spinx store located at 7467 Garners Ferry Road shortly after 10:30 p.m. on September 11, 2017.

No one was injured during the incident.  The suspect has been described as a black male, possibly between the 18-25 years old, last seen wearing a gray/black hoodie with a black/red fitted cap, black pants and white/black shoes.

He possibly left the store in a late 2000 model, dark-colored Nissan Altima with tinted windows and a paper tag.
