K-9 Team Tracks Burglary Suspect Hiding from Police

A Columbia Police Department (CPD) K-9 team successfully tracked a burglary suspect attempting to hide from police after his alleged crime in South Columbia over the weekend.

Calvin Muldrow (DOB: 7-19-1956) is charged with Burglary – Second Degree after being accused of breaking into an unlocked door at a Caroline Road home over the weekend. Muldrow allegedly stole lawn care equipment.

The victim was home at the time, and initially told CPD officers that his dog chased the suspect down the road. The victim lost site of the man near Greenlawn Drive.

A CPD K-9 team managed to track Muldrow to that area and found him hiding under a bush at 1114 Greenlawn Drive.

Muldrow was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
