Crimestoppers | Teen Wanted in Attempted Murder Investigation

Columbia Police Investigators are searching for a teenager wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred earlier this month.

Arrest warrants for Attempted Murder and Discharging a Firearm into a Dwelling have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database for Khalil Dion Bailey (DOB: 11-11-1998) who should be considered armed and dangerous.

The 18-year-old is accused of discharging an AK-47 style firearm at a Delverton Road home shortly before 1:00 a.m. on October 7, 2017. No one was injured during the shooting, however at least two people were inside of the residence at the time.

Bailey was with an unidentified armed co-defendant during the crime. Investigators continue to determine the motive for the shooting.
