North Region Officers Seize Two Stolen Guns in Arrest

Columbia Police Department officers have seized two stolen guns during a recent arrest at a North Columbia hotel.

As a result, 24-year-old Jarvarius Trapp (DOB: 4-21-1993) is charged with Two Counts of Possession of a Stolen Pistol, Possession of MDMA, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine and Marijuana, and Public Disorderly Conduct.

Trapp is accused of having the guns, which were reported stolen out of Anderson County and Simpsonville inside a vehicle he was driving on November 6, 2017.  During the vehicle search, officers also found more than 100 Ecstasy pills, cocaine and marijuana.

North Region officers were dispatched to 450 Gracern Road (Extended Stay America) after a call for service regarding Trapp arguing with staff.

A judge set Trapp’s bond at $100,000. Trapp was booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
