Columbia Police Investigators have arrested a 63-year-old man who is accused of shooting a friend yesterday.
Wilba Grimes (DOB: 1-15-1954) was arrested last night and is currently housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center under a $60,000 bond for Assault and Battery of a High an Aggravated Nature.

Grimes is accused of arguing with a male friend at a residence located at 916 Walnut Street yesterday moments before the shooting occurred.
The victim, who was injured in his lower body, ran to 1001 Harden Street to ask for help.
EMS took him to a local hospital where he remains this evening.
All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
