Crimestoppers | Sixteen Arrest Warrants for Auto Breaking Suspect  

Investigators with the Columbia Police Department’s (CPD) Property Crimes Unit have sixteen (16) outstanding arrest warrants for a man accused of breaking into multiple cars within the past several months.

Once located, 45-year-old Michael Jerome Brosia will be charged with several counts of:

Breaking into a Motor Vehicle, Larceny, Financial Identity Fraud, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Additional warrants are possible.

Brosia is accused of breaking into various unlocked vehicles at Stadium Village Lofts located at 1049 Key Road in March 2018, and while at 124 Culliver Road on April 7, 2018.

Once inside, Brosia allegedly stole miscellaneous items to include money, credit/debit cards, handbags, wallets, headphones and sunglasses.

He’s further accused of using the credit/debit cards to make fraudulent purchases at gas stations and other businesses.
