Columbia Police Department (CPD) officers are investigating a suspicious death in North Columbia.
Officers were dispatched to Prescott and Koon Roads near North Main Street this afternoon after citizens found a deceased female at the 5800 block of Koon Road.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting CPD with the investigation. An autopsy is planned for tomorrow morning. CPD will provide updates on the case when information becomes available.
