Crimestoppers | Shooting Investigation – Stoneridge Drive

Columbia Police Department (CPD) investigators are encouraging citizens to call Crimestoppers with information regarding a shooting incident that injured a 23-year-old man.

on November 20, 2019, officers were dispatched to 246 Stoneridge Drive shortly before 8:00 p.m. for a shots fired call. Two male victims were reportedly sitting inside of a car when two armed male suspects approached them.One of the victims was shot in the upper body as he was attempting to runaway from the area. He was taken to a local hospital by EMS for his life-threatening injury.

The other victim reports receiving injuries when a suspect used a gun to hit him in the head. Both victims are recovering. After the shooting incident, the suspects stole the victims’ vehicle.
