The Columbia Police Department’s (CPD) Traffic Safety Unit (TSU) is investigating a fatal hit and run collision involving a pedestrian.
The incident happened on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the 8300 block of Old Percival Road.
Preliminary information:
A 56-year-old male was found deceased at the location shortly after 9:00 p.m. It’s believed that the man was walking along the north side of the roadway when an unknown vehicle, possibly a Ford struck him.
Officers have spoken with witnesses to gather additional information. Evidence was also collected at the scene and will be processed.
