Columbia Police Chief W.H. ‘Skip’ Holbrook announces that investigators with the Organized Crime and Narcotics (OCN) Unit have arrested 6 males and a female after receiving multiple tips from citizens regarding suspected drug activity at a Mayer Street home.
After serving a search warrant at 1735 Mayer Street on March 10, 2023, OCN officers with the assistance SWAT Team members arrested and charged the following suspects:
- Terrell A. Bookert – prolific offender who was part of 2016 Ceasefire event for prior firearms convictions

The suspects were booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. (Please note, two booking photographs were not available).
OCN Investigators seized 67 grams of crack cocaine, 70 grams of cocaine,13 grams of heroin, 4 grams of methamphetamine, 3 pounds of marijuana, 5 firearms (one stolen from CPD’s jurisdiction), and more than $3700 in cash.
An additional arrest is forthcoming. CPD investigators will consult with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to determine if the investigation qualifies for federal adoption.
All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
