Columbia Police Department (CPD) Investigators have arrested a 21-year-old male in connection with a 2022 murder case.
Chief W.H. “Skip” Holbrook annoucnes that Socolian O’Boris Bryant is charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.
Bryant was arrested yesterday by CPD officers and members of the United States Marshals Service’s Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force on unrelated charges. While housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, Bryant was served with CPD’s warrants for the 2022 investigation.
Bryant is accused of shooting 24-year-old Tiana Jones in the upper body on April 29, 2022, at 100 Lorick Circle (Latimer Manor Apartments) after an argument.
All persons arrested/charged are presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty in a court of law.
