Columbia Police Officers Receive FBI Awards

On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Chief W.H. ‘Skip’ Holbrook congratulated several police officers for successfully completing three weeks of law enforcement training and leadership classes through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The officers were enrolled in the following classes as part of their professional development: Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute and Executive Leadership Institute. As a result, these officers earned the Law Enforcement Executive Development Association (LEEDA) Trilogy Award:

During the presentation, Chief Holbrook said, “We’re creating a culture of how important professional development is when you join a small percentage of your peers who follow a similar career path.”
