Our Property Crimes investigators are releasing surveillance video of a man caught in the act of stealing a trailer that contained a valuable classic car.
The incident happened over the weekend at a storage facility at 7011 Garners Ferry Road.
The vintage vehicle is a 1917 Chevy Touring convertible with red rims.
The male suspect appears to have a medical-type mask around the lower portion of his face. CPD investigators ask that citizens pay close attention to the suspect’s clothing, stature, even his walk to aid in his identification.
Also, the suspect left the crime scene in a possibly a dark-colored 3500 series Chevy Silverado with yellow and black paper tags.
